GDX-RAJ1 11 and 10 meter J pole (GDX Antennas)

The GDX-RAJ1 Jpole has Gain: 2,4 dBI and a SWR bandwidth 3500 Khz, the Lenght is aprox 8,10 m
Mastclamb-mounting is 40 till 60 mm. It is a rugged aluminium contruction and a element use in diameters, 42 till 16 mm

The J-pole antenna, also called the Zepp' antenna (short for Zeppelin), was first invented by the Germans for use in their lighter-than-air balloons.Trailed behind the airship, it consisted of a single element, one half wavelength long radiator with a quarter wave parallel feedline tuning stub. This was later modified into the J-pole configuration, which became popular with amateur radio operators because it is effectiven antenna conductors and the mounting structure. (This last sentence is debatable and ingnored by many builders).

Now using this antenna for almost 6 Months. I can say it's one of a kind, stil werking very good! Has survived several Storms now with windforce 9 or even higher. It's a very good DX antenna!

What can I say... I am very happy with this antenna. It's working great for about 2 Months now at a high of 9 meters. Did work several nice DX and it's having a nice SWR on a wide range. <1.5 within 4Mc.
Mechanically it's a monster antenna, far better than the most factorymade antennas.
